Barva Volcano
With their 2.906 mt of height, the Barva is among the high peaks of the central volcanic mountain range, with their «equals» Irazú, toward the east and Poás, to the west.
This volcano is also Well-known as The Three Marías hill, it is very familiar to the inhabitant of the center of the country, because it is the culmination of a wide wall of the north of the Central Valley in which there are numerous towns and infinity of farms, in a landscape always green, sprinkled of pines, cypresses and great variety of trees that, as forest of first growth, they crown the volcanic hill. The dense forest covers the surroundings of the out crater of the Barva.
